abusing the intelligence pool again

I don’t have an article in this Thursday, which is fine, but for next Thursday (which means due this tomorrow evening; aren’t deadlines a bitch?) i’m writing about the reconstruction in Iraq. This means getting caught up on blogs, and there may well be a roundup of linkage after i’m done (though there’s a half a dozen other update entries i want to get done as well and of course i don’t have time for any of it).
The point of this entry is to solicit intelligent writings on the issue. I don’t really have time to engage in debate, but feel free to post a comment with your personal opinion if you’d like, though what i’m really looking for is links to articles. I am of course quite capable of researching on my own, but i figure you all probably float in different information pools than i do, so i want to take advantage of that.
