Why cook when others will gladly serve or treat? Even when you assert yourself, there's a wonderfully passive quality to your manner. The universe has already decided to give you what you want.
The three sentences seem to have nothing to do with each other, and the second sentence is almost paradoxical. The first sentence makes me laugh because i'm going to make chocolate chip cookies today -- because i love baking. The third sentence makes me happy, though -- even though i'm not sure quite what it is that i want.
I really should be doing something other than nitpicking horoscopes (always a foolish occupation), but i'm not.
Unrelated to anything, the zine i'm currently reading is called browsing room and is written by a 29-year-old Illinois woman who works in technical services. I don't work in tech services, and some things about her library are different from mine, but i just feel this immediate kinship to anyone who works in a library. Yes, i am a giant dork.
Okay, i'm off to have lunch now. Don't mind me.
