E! Online says Fox has given them a seven episode commitment. TV Guide says "could premiere as early as spring."

Problematic, what?. On the other hand, it's the best idea ever, because if it were done well it would be fantastically philosophically awesome, and even if it's not done well, it'll still probably be extremely interesting to deconstruct. (Not that American television has ever done any idea well, bar a couple of episodes of The Twilight Zone or perhaps Outer Limits or whatever that show was).
