Barney (on why he doesn't suit up for a funeral): "Suits are full of joy; the sartorial equivalent of a baby's smile."
Barney (on how he wants to go out the way he came in: buck naked): "Open bar for the guys, open casket for the ladies."
Barney: "Betting is for suckers."
It feels very in character for Barney to initially have that idea and then totally get sucked in as we see.
Ted to Barney: "Because you didn't think through a bathroom plan and I think that's funny."
I'm undecided on Lily dissing Sally's three-weeks-in-a-row one-eyed goldfish. My initial reaction is "Hi, kindergarten teacher; you don't be mean to kids like that," but on the other hand, it feels very much like the kind of reaction Lily would have.
Ted to the kids: "Just because you know how something ends doesn't mean you can't enjoy the ride."
Shout-out to viewers who are wondering/worrying about the continuing Ted/Robin plotline given that we know she is Not the Mom? Indicator that Ted and Robin will break up soon? Both?
