There was a period during which all the narratives I consumed became About Sexual Ethics, and that synchronicity seemed to have stopped and then I got this episode.
The would-be-jumper = aww!
Barney's ripping off Risky Business, etc. and then we hit the one movie I actually recognized:
Ted: "That was Hackers, and there wasn't even a sex scene in that!"
Barney: "I was 23, and it was my mom's 45-year-old divorced friend Rhonda. She called me 'Barry' the whole time, and for two weeks afterward my comforter smelled like menthol cigarettes."
[...]
Marshall: "Tell us again about your first time at that camp in the Catskills."
I went pit-a-pat.
