Item the First:
It was legitimately cold outside all day today.  This is cause for celebration.

Item the Second:
I actually joined the HBS gym today.  Now of course I just have to actually go.

Item the Third:
Mail today included an invitation to the Boston Smith College Club "Annual High Tea": Sat. Feb. 10 at UpStairs on the Square.  Awesome.  I mean, okay, it's expensive, but still.

Item the Fourth:
It occurred to me that a notVDay dinner party would also be a perfect opportunity to use my bucket o' chocolate martini mix.

Item the Fifth:
I had dinner at Grendel's Den with paper_crystals and wired_lizard tonight.

Item the Sixth:
paper_crystals has seen the first four seasons of BtVS, so tonight we watched 5.01 ("Buffy vs. Dracula") and 5.02 ("Real Me").

Item the Seventh:
OriginalRoomie lent paper_crystals the spare key she had made from when her family visited, so paper_crystals can be in and out all day tomorrow without us having to leave the house unlocked.

Item the Eighth:
paper_crystals brought me a house gift!  (A bottle of wine, wrapped in nice paper.)
