Gah, crazymaking day.

In goodcrazy news, though, my worst-paper-ever-no-seriously earned me a B.

Tomorrow after work I am walking over to Shad and joining the HBS gym.  'Cause endorphins=yay and exercise is better than sex, right?  ::snogs Tania::  (P.S. [livejournal.com profile] nikitangel, one of then women I work with is thinking about taking up boxing.  I thought of you, of course.)

In other news, on my way to work this morning I noticed CVS had a VDay display up and pondered having a not!Valentine's Day party -- I'm not that opposed to Valentine's Day nor particularly bitter about not having a significant other, but I have yet to manage that monthly dinner party thing I had been wanting to do after my apartment-warming (and throwing a party was on my mind since last night my brother asked me what I did for New Year's).  This would also be a perfect opportunity to try out Vampire wine.  I know lots of you are ineligible for participation due to your physical distance, but feel free to chime in with thoughts anyway.

I think a dinner party sounds lovely. There's all kinds of themey food you can make too. Chocolate covered strawberries are great and, of course, heart shaped cookies. I always think of shishkebob, too, cause love is so like a skewer. LOL

I actually kinda like the idea of it being unthemed -- i.e., just ignoring VDay altogether and having ourselves a lovely dinner party. Though decadence is awesome, so I am definitely into the chocolate-covered strawberries idea.

(Comment edited and reposted because I am apparently not awake enough to write. It's been a long, tiring day.)

Between the chocolate-covered strawberries mentioned in another comment and the Vampire wine, you are making me want to ignore the pesky physical distance issue.

I think a dinner party sounds lovely, especially since it is something you wanted to do after your apartment-warming. February is a good month to start, I think, because everyone has had a month off after all the winter holiday stress.

(My birthday is at the end of January, and I can't tell you how many times I've decided not to have a big party because either I was, or my friends were, still dealing with the aftermath of the stress.)
