3 for 3

Buffy (“Selfless”) and Firefly (“Out of Gas”) were both quality episodes. Quoteable lines and historical background. I heart continuity. [Must mention, though, that the whole “Anya must die” was highly problematic.] Angel (“Slouching Toward Bethlehem”) was also serious quality. Wesley and Connor are THE BEST. And, um, does anyone in Whedonverse ever learn that deceit is never the right way?

if they ever learned that, the shows would be so much less entertaining.

if i have to see wes and lilah in bed together again, i will definitely knock myself unconscious.

ditto x 458349593 if i have to see connor grope cordelia again.

I've been a big fan of morally-grey Wesley sleeping with the enemy, but that episode i decided they were done. Lilah is "hello, still evil" and Wesley really is one of the good guys, and i think they both know that.

I kinda like Cordy/Connor. Okay, so she was something of a mom to him and seeing the pictures thought she was his mom, so there's some squick, but he's also the only one who's been totally upfront with her. (They didn't tell her Connor had aged in another dimension and was roaming the streets?!) And i feel like there's chemistry there. There's trust, which counts for so much, and i dunno i feel like there's chemistry there. But i'm not sure ME's actually gonna have them get together. I don't really see them doing that. But we shall see. (I'm beginning to think i need to just stop watching promos.)
