Ew.

The radio was on earlier and i heard this commercial which began something like "People are going to judge you on your appearance. That is unavoidable" and then proceeded to advertise some weight-loss thing, "so people can judge the new, thinner you." There is so much wrong with that commercial i don't even know where to begin.

A few weeks ago I heard a commercial that was quite similar -- except it also had the line, "Do you want people to think you are a fat pig? OINK OINK!"

This is one of the (many) reasons I don't listen to the radio anymore, and haven't on a consistent basis since 1999.

Listen to WOZQ! We don't even HAVE commercials (just PSAs and possibly underwriting later in the semester).

I haven't listened to the radio of my own accord since i think junior high. I was in the kitchen with my mom this afternoon and she had it on. I do keep meaning to listen to the Smith station at some point, though.
