Tuesday

As expected, another slow day.

morning:
+ dealt with two calls
+ worked on four CSI episode writeups
+ met wee!Nancy the elder

lunch:
+ met [livejournal.com profile] trijinx at The Square for lunch (Pho Pasteur in The Garage)

afternoon:
+ began work on obtaining review materials
+ dealt with people having a bad day by reading and feedbacking their fic

evening/night:
+ did some errands downtown
+ called my grandma 'cause my mom was working late
+ did the dishes

anecdotes:

My phone rang and I was expecting it to be Cat but instead it was, "Sorry, wrong number."  Checked my phone and yes it was my unknown missed call from 11:19 Friday night.  Mystery solved.

Eric: I have a question for you.
Me: I might have an answer for you.
Eric: You do have an answer for me.  I may not like the answer, but you have an answer.

Well the extended family isn't expected until after dinner so we have some time :)

I honestly have difficulty seeing Grissom as kinky. (I read a not that great "Five Kinks Grissom Never Had" and tried to write my own and had real difficulty. Of course this is aided by not having seen all the episodes by a long shot.)

Yes, I know, I need to see the Lady Heather eps. The S2 one is 2.08. So without commercials that's only like 6 hours :) And I've seen 2.07 relatively recently, so we can skip that on the DVDs. (I've actually seen most of the second half of S2 on CSI Weekends.)

Basically what we come back to is the cognitive disconnect between Grissom's "Pin you against a wall?" in the Pilot and "Hey, Grissom ... could you come tape me up?" / "I love my work." / "It shows." in "Crate n' Burial". And obviously my not having seen the "Pin me" scene in "Butterflied" (4.12) is also a problem.
