Today ranaeressea was the third flister (in the span of a couple weeks) to mention the Danish cartoon furor. My dad has sent me a slew of links, which I've been working my way through, and I've been wondering about putting together a post of links/excerpts, a la my LJing of yore. I miss issue talking (and feel like I said as much rather recently). Of course, I already have a growing backlog Posts to Write. Sigh.

P.S. The Boston Zine Fair is this weekend. I'm almost tempted.

Be sure to read Andrew Sullivan's opinion piece in time. Without having done the amount of research you are doing on the topic, I think his article most closely aligns with my thoughts on the cartoons (well except if I remember correctly, he gets a little too righteous in the last paragraph).

My dad used to send me andrewsullivan.com links a lot, so back when I had the time he was on my regular read list, but then he got less good and dropped of my radar of Blogs to Read When I Have Time. I'll try to find his Time piece, though; thanks.
