Okay, that was weird.

First weirdness was falling asleep reading after being up for only 13 hours (and after my 12ish hour sleep, to boot). Then during my nap i had the most detailed dream i've had in ages. Which mostly involved being kidnaped. (P.S. ahlksey, Mr. P. or no, that word looks so wrong spelled that way.) And my brother and Meredith being unhelpful. And high school graduation parties even though i was at college, and then a weird phone survey for my high school reunion. And Summer Glau was at the Serenity screening and then i was in the movie, still being kidnapped. And part of me is tempted to write it all down just because i don't usually remember my dreams that much. It was very complicated and only sometimes missing transitions. Part of me points out that's rather a waste of time as it wasn't all that inherently interesting.

[Edit: Bugger. My birthday's coming up so i need to figure out what material goods should actually remain on my wishlist. And i still have no word from assorted parties about potential NYC on the 9th.]

Your unhelpfulness wasn't really your fault (unlike my brothers, which was markedly out of character). We were at some cafeteria dinner thing before Serenity, and i needed you to drive me there 'cause i didn't want the kidnapper to get me. I had tried to phone you earlier, but i couldn't find your phone number and when i pulled your facebook profile the contact info part was all blank. When we finally passed each other at the dinner you told me briefly that you had gotten a ride to the dinner so you didn't have your car to be able to drive me anywhere. Which of course doesn't make sense because if the screening were at the dinner i would be fine and if it were elsewhere you would be getting a ride somehow and i could come with. But hey, dream logic. And that was your only appearance. You were going to sit down to eat and i was walking toward the food and there was some weird force pulling us in opposite directions like were were on those conveyor belts at airports, and all sorts of other things happened and after a while i wasn't even at the dinner anymore.
