Library science is actually one of the ones i nodded at. I like being able to cook for myself, but i have very bland tastes so saying i like cooking is rather like saying i like breathing. I like pretty shoes, and tend to have rather picky tastes (we are shocked, i know) but it's definitely not a big thing for me like it is for many women.

My first instinct was that it pooled the interests from my flist, or at least pulled from friends who shared some critical mass of interests with me. That's why i included the additional info that i did, because as it turns out, it takes the interests you have that fewer than 20 users share, and takes the 20 most common interests from those users.

But yeah, there are definitely people i care a lot about and who interest me a lot who have many interests/likes (which may or may not be listed on LJ) which i care little for (leaving aside the obvious political differences between me and, oh, everybody).

I never had sushi before i became a vegetarian. I have since had cucumber sushi, which i quite like.
