everything's connected

hermionesviolinRead Langston Hughes' "The Blues I'm Playing" and made connections to everything from the patronage system we have discussed so much to The Bostonians (Henry James, mt's class last semester). This paper should be cake.
Started reading the rest of the assigned stories. First one is "Cora Unashamed" and i thought "That sounds familiar" but as i was reading i knew i hadn't read it. 5 pages in i realized, I saw the movie at tea last year.
Having not finished the story yet i don't have full comments on how the movie diverges from the short story.
[And in news that isn't news: There are not enough hours in a day.]
