"The ocean’s unpredictable today."
Jan. 22nd, 2005 12:55 amMac&cheese for dinner! Blessings upon. (Lunch was sandwich bar, so i'd been rather nutritionally deprived.)
No Meg for me. :( I did write a letter to a friend, did laundry, picked up my packages, listened to the new Ani album, and finally listened full-through to the mix Allie made me. I also got a good chunk of coding done. Oh tedium (and running to
maechi for more "But why won't it work?!" assistance). I feel like i should get betas for the website or something -- basically just people to look at it and tell me if it looks lame. (I think working hardcore on my vid recs page has made me feel less like le suck re: the site, though. Oh, me and my superiority/inferiority complexes.)
Heated but civil discussion over on
scrollgirl's LJ. (Short version: While i understand pettiness as a way to blow off steam, i insist that rational discussion is the way change will occur. I believe in working toward the greater good and problematizing everything. I do not condone the use of torture. Hey look, we can disagree about the Iraq war without stomping all over each other.) I continue to be just a little amused everytime i use my Ani DiFranco icon :)

P.S. Clearly i'm insane 'cause some classical music rebroadcast of a New Years show was playing in the bathroom and i kept thinking it sounded like the Flying Purple People Eater song.
