Funny how things turn out.
Jul. 12th, 2003 10:10 amYesterday was boring. Children of Lir was sold out. I did various errands and went to the MoMA Oxford (very small) and the remains of Oxford Castle and surrounding buildings (shrug). I napped a lot and got dinner at the Beer Cellar (wow a pint is a lot of beverage) and decided against going clubbing.
I came back from the computer lab trying unsuccessfully to access my e-mail around, oh, 10 or 11 at night. As i was going up the stairs Mandy (first-floor room) opened her door and yelled up to me. I came down. She and roommate Karen were hanging out with Dave and i was invited to join them. They shared this pasta w/ hummus on chips thing that was surprisingly good. After a while Dave left to go to bed and then Karen did, too. Mandy and i chatted for, oh, most of the night. They're going to London today and i helped her book a hotel room. Most of the night we just talked, though. She's really cool. And cute. And her bi-dar impresses me immensely. And we agreed that Anna Paquin in the X-Men movies is hotness. And she's a vegetarian. And we're gonna hit up the queer clubs in Oxford. When she found out it was my birthday recently she insisted on throwing me a party. With her horrendous short-term memory i will be very surprised if this happens, but it was still really sweet, and we will definitely be hanging out more.
And no, i haven't slept since before the sun set yesterday.
(In other news, i think i've mildly sunburned my face.)
