One of the best episodes ever.

[livejournal.com profile] trijinx, i know you squealed when they had the Angelus laugh at the beginning.

Ooh, nice twist with the Angelus-turning-Faith situation. And this Orpheus drug thing, [livejournal.com profile] childofthesun, you were totally thinking Ecstasia with me, right?

Well of course we were gonna call "the only living person ever to re-ensoul Angel." And dude, Fred and Willow were so slashable. (For the record, i've had an unwritten Willow/Fred NC-17 post-"Seeing Red" comfort fic in my head for ages.) And then at the end, "I'm seeing someone." !!! Fred is so bi.

I had more to say i thought.

I really liked the meshing of old Willow (Wes was really right that she seemed the same while he had changed a lot) with black-eyed Willow (and woot! now she knows she can handle major mojo).

Aw, Connor did a turnaround on the Faith-doing-magic-is-bad thing. He gets that whole taking risks, dying in battle thing.

And [livejournal.com profile] childofthesun, i know you screamed with delight when Faith woke up. The bitch is back.

I liked that they managed to have the Willow-Cordy battle without Cordy being revealed as evil. Though obviously the end scene shows that the charade is nearly up. (Hello Cordy, Mistress of the Dark.)

For some reason I did not think there were any more of the glass balls required to return angel's soul. (perpelexed)

I loved Willow being totally and completely Willow. She has not had the chance back home.(Faith is head to Sunnydale, Yippee!) Angel gets so dark and broody sometimes and Willow comes in and puts everyone in their place in about two or three seconds. She so nailed Westly! And the references to Willow's other changes and then the flirting with Fred. Awesome. (Also kinda cool Willow implies she has a serious relationship in Sunnydale. There has not been a lot of time for that plot thread there.)

Interesting that Willow would be a guest on a show about the nature of redemption.

Something that Westley I think is wrestling with right now as well. As well as coming to terms with the fact that he cannot be as cold hearted as he wants to be. He seemed pretty close to the edge this show.

And Faith kicked Connor's sniviling little diapered butt all over the floor. That girl has some serious moves. Much more cat like than Buffy in her movement.

Wow!

Lots of bruises this show considering they stayed in the protected by a non-violence spell hotel the entire time. Something is up with that.

Now if only Willow had wandered into the President's office a while ago behind his back, picked up the picture of his daughters and made a drinking pantomime and nodded her head ruefully.
