"For I know the plans I have for you," declares YHWH, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Good things about today:
- Tufts construction has progressed such that I don't have to cross the street there anymore.
- I did in fact leave my jacket at the office on Saturday (so I didn't have to call the Dugout and find a time to get down there -- this also makes me feel better about my choice not to go back to the Dugout once I realized I didn't have my jacket with me)
- [redacted, v.2] awkward/stilted/skirting, but I appreciate the effort
[item of unknown valence] I'd recently been feeling like the orchid I bought myself back in September was ~dying, but it has a new bud. #itsametaphorifyouknowwhatimean (#thoughidontknowwhatitmeans) #howhaveyoubeen? (#howHAVEibeen?) - schedule for tomorrow came together (though there's still one outstanding person who may overturn the apple cart, and I need to send a follow-up email about Wednesday)
- supper with Roza, and SE wasn't bad
- remembered to ask my mom a question someone had asked me on Sunday
- sent out more PIC emails [notes for next year: include the email address on the form, not just the letter]
- tracked down the PIC facebook event, RSVPed myself and invited a slew of people (119 -- how do I even know that many people?)
["anything that you're looking forward to, that means you're facing tomorrow with joy, not trepidation," as Ari says]
- meeting up with tiny!Tyler (tho rain is predicted, which makes going for a walk suboptimal -- though I didn't encounter any rain this afternoon/evening, except watching a brief rain at Boloco, so who knows what tomorrow evening will be like)
- Jason D's Ecclesiastical Council
