Normally I am all about leaving wounds exposed to heal, but because this is such an open wound that it seems like a bad idea.

I don't usually bother with Neosporin but I was considering buying some when I first cut myself, but at that time I was more concerned about keeping the bleeding in check so taking off the bandaid to put on a new one with Neosporin seemed like a bad idea.
It's not a super-deep cut. There's some numbness around it, so I guess I severed some nerves, but I can use and even bend my finger without pain, so I don't think I damaged any muscles or tendons.
