I have a bee in my bonnet, and I think you would appreciate it. I have a real problem with LGBT and women's issues (and issues like the anti-war marches) being turned into a vehicle for a specific political stance. It's this knee-jerk liberalism that I think really alienates potential supporters of, say, gay marriage or better access to abortion, and it's counter-productive and irrelevant. Maybe I'm just moving further towards a more centrist stance, or maybe it's just because Lola is a Conservative but holds pretty much the same views on social stuff as I do, but it strikes me as crazy that movements would be willing to box themselves in like that.
