Yeah, when he said Hispanic means from *Spain* I admitted I'd been using it broadly for someone from Spain/Central-or-South America/etc. and conceded that that was probably an inaccurate usage. (He in turn conceded that Rena was likely some kind of Latina.)

With the last name "Marquez" I figured Mimi came from a Spanish-speaking (at least at some point) background, but it occurred to me later that Eric was specifically positing her as Hispanic-as-in-from-Spain and saying that Rosario Dawson's Puerto Rican and Cuban background meant she wasn't an exact fit, but do we have anything that says that says Mimi *isn't* Puerto Rican or Cuban or from anywhere besides Spain?
