I'd forgotten about the "scar" line. I was thinking, "Well he won't die 'cause he can regenerate, right?" but then I remembered that there's always some time lapse and it's unlikely he can access any powers if Sylar takes his brain out. It just now occurs to me that since he encountered Hiro he can bend time and space, though the odds of him remembering that....
