Barney: "Make it ten thousand."
Marshall: "You have a gambling problem, you'll bet me fifty bucks."
Marshall: "Best fifty bucks I ever spent."
The detail-oriented public transit afficionado me is now curious as to whether the trains do actually turn around in NYC. (Most train lines I'm familiar with they get to an end station and then just go back out again.)
"You are... Marshall." I actually got the reference.
Ted: "This coin was minted during WWII."
Robin: "So was my grandfather, and that doesn't make him interesting."
I liked that whole bit with the $1.50 hot dog.
Ted: "I never would have met your mother."
Again with the set up for imminent Robin breakup or at least a reminder that the show is aware that Robin is Not The Mother.
