How I Met Your Mother 2.10 "Single Stamina" [2006-11-27]
Snow!
Okay, at first the idea of a gay black Barney was not selling me ('cause Barney's grown on me, but largely by being more than just the idea of his character, and that basic conceit was all we were seeing of James at first), but I approve of the reveal. Love Barney dropping the phone. And I enjoy how they played Barney's marriage-phobia (contra homophobia). I wasn't expecting him to melt at the baby reveal, but I can let that go. I did really enjoy his interactions with the baby.
I also enjoyed the straight-guys-at-a-gay-club bit (including Robin and Lily missing getting hit on). Though dude, objectively, Ted and Marshall (and Barney) really aren't that hot.
Of course I could have done without the gratuitous Republican joke at the end, but I'll live.
