It's funny about Casablanca. If you take apart, I'm not sure it holds up under close scrutiny. It's got a great script, but it's awfully cheesy in places. The acting is good, but I've seen better. Cinematography? Fneh. But there's something about it that makes it really beloved to a number of people, myself included. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, I guess.

Citizen Kane is a much smarter movie. It doesn't sock me in the gut, but I can appreciate the craft. I think you should rent it.
