Wow. These are all deeply, deeply awesome. Dawn & Spike: you've reminded me why I was such a fan of them back in those days. Both outsiders, often overlooked, they had such an awesome big brother/little sister dynamic.
Dawn was not complaining, however, when they were out clubbing one night and Faith followed her to the ladies' room and fingerfucked her in one of the stalls. I don't read a lot of femslash, but this is just HOT. Faith/Dawn? I definitely need to read more of them. (Though I am a fan of Faith/Robin. I like the idea of Faith finally comfortable enough with herself to give a guy a real chance.)
Sometimes she wished she could thank Giles, but she didn't think he'd enjoy being reminded of it, plus there was really no way to say it that wasn't royally creepy. Oooh, love this. My favourite. Which probably says a lot about me. It's not simply that I adore Dawn for understanding the necessary things, but that she's grateful for other people, like Giles, who get it too, even if it'd means she dies or people she loves dies. Plus, "royally creepy" is such a Dawn thing.
Buffy and Dawn, oh my girls. Love how much Dawn admires her sister, what she can do, who she is. Dawn looks up to Buffy as her hero.
Excellent Tara and Oz. Y'know, I've always had a yen for more interaction between those two. They're alike in many ways, but not exactly the same. Given half a chance, I think they'd really get along and understand each other, even if they didn't unburden all their deepest, darkest secrets.
You've just covered four of my absolute favourite characters. I can go to bed happy now, thank you! :)
