:) I actually have lots of copy paper boxes under my bed from when I moved. [I have so much paper and everything that I have boxes and boxes that still need to be unpacked/dealt with.] Though I'm sure I could find places to store booze.
I don't think Cailin would get micromanagy, though I can see where your concern would come from on that. But it does make me uncomfortable that her attitude seems to be that just because we get along we should therefore become an item -- not because it feeds into the idea that men and women can't be friends with each other without there being a sexual component (though that certainly bothers me in a lot of contexts) but because it completely ignores the complexities of relationships: I mean, just because I get along with someone (hell I could even be good friends with them) doesn't mean a romantic/sexual relationship with them would work. And yeah, I am a little bit disturbed by the light-hearted attitude she has around it, like that relationships aren't serious business (and I'm sure she treats them like serious business when her friends are in relationships, so it's this weird cognitive disconnect). And yeah, the idea of manipulating a guy into an epiphany that he likes a woman is a bit squicksome, and again with the highschooly.
I appreciate your commenting on this component of the post. (And I'm especially pleased that you're not on the side of Cailin hooking us up since you were one of the people who was endorsing me/Eric -- though obviously me making a move on someone I like is v. different than a third party trying to hook us up, so I didn't necessarily expect you to be endorsing Cailin on this one.)
