lunch, and housewarming party

hermionesviolinRA brought me banana nut coffee cake and strawberries from the ExecEd program.
Eric and I had lunch outside -- at the Square 'cause he's addicted to Boston Tea Stop slush (honeydew, especially). At his urging, I ordered one, too. Coconut this time. (Sidenote: Would I like passion fruit, or lychee? Ooh, the online menu says you can combine. Maybe I'll order a strawberry kiwi next time.)
Eric's suggestions for when to have my housewarming party included the last weekend in August and Fourth of July weekend. I suspect both these are bad ideas, but they do remind me that I should do a survey of when is _not_ good for people. I'm probably going to have the party on q Saturday (plan is afternoon seguing into dinner party seguing into sleepover) but I'm open to petitions for Fridays or Sundays. I'm rooting for mid-late July but am open to petitions for August. I thought about doing an all-out poll, but there are so many dates left in the summer that instead I invite you to comment with your preferences -- especially since that also gives you a forum in which to tell me how likely/interested you are in attending.
Oh, and I had mentioned to my mom doing monthly dinner parties after this 'cause (1) seeing people = yay (2) I'm disinclined to make real food when I'm just making it for myself (3) I'm gonna have so much booze left over after my party.
