I'm not certain anybody's ever called me miss. Or is they have I don't remember it. I get ma'am a lot, but I'm cool with that. Down here, saying ma'am doesn't have anything to do with age, but with respect, good service, and what the ma'am sayer perceives as the chain of authority.
