Yay for successful shopping.

I'm not really attached to places either, except for two instances. The first was when I studied abroad in Spain. I felt this immediate and intense connection to the place and the culture that is unexplainable except in terms of a concept like reincarnation. The second is that in the aftermath of Katrina, looking at all these places of my childhood that are obliterated is just heartbreaking and weird.
