I've never seen it actively solicited, and it bugs me that there's no easy way to do it (I mean, post-service receiving line is hardly the appropriate time, and Coffee Hour the minister is usually mobbed by real concerns) though now with so many churches having websites it's easier. I can't fathom *not* desiring feedback, but then there are a lot of things that I think are clearly just the way people should operate that people totally don't.
He does have a blog, so I guess he could post "discuss sermon here" posts every Sunday. And I don't think the response would be overwhelming as it's not a terribly large congregation -- and as with all congregations, there are a large number of people who aren't particularly engaged. And it would be neat to have conversation -- like not just between individual and pastor, but between multiple congregants (plus the pastor himself, of course) in the open forum of his blog.
And now that I've been given an official okay, I am all over sending feedback. Seriously, though, I'm being good and limiting myself to meaty issues or important details, and balancing with praise, and being conscious of tone and all. (I get so used to LJ where I get to list and spew, and I have to remind myself that real correspondence doesn't work that way -- at least not with everyone.)
