How sad is it that whenever I read about your train/T-riding experiences, I get all nostalgic and homesick for Boston? Harvard? Fuck it. Veggie Planet? Meh... yummy, but I'm not gonna get teary about it. Accordian music while waiting for the T? And suddenly I remember that when I call Boston "Like New York, only less so", I mean it affectionately, and that I haven't been there in way, way, WAY too long. Sigh. Granted, Boston-in-winter isn't my favorite (while I love city snow, I hate the huge wind tunnel effect that used to happen-- especially around the Common, where I used to spend a lot of my time), but I think that is more than made up for by big, warm, cozy places like Faneuil Hall, or the aquarium, or, barring that, some really fabulous company to keep while walking quickly through the cold. And by really fabulous company, I mean, I miss you I miss you I miss you!
