I think Sandra Bezic's remark about Lindemann meant that he was expending a lot of energy on bits of choreography that would not garner points -- under the present scoring system, they're really looking for difficult footwork and GOOD choreography that transitions smoothly from one element to the next...it doesn't do you much good to have 'throwaway' choreography that just happens to go with the music or whatever.

I think Johnny Weir is basically the most beautiful male skater I've ever seen, but his attitude has disappointed me this year... I don't know if you saw the brief feature about him, but I was like, "Oh, Johnny, if you want to stand up to the 'figure skating establishment,' I'm sure there are ways of doing that without being obnoxious for obnoxiousness' sake."

The SPS didn't really blow me away either... Somehow the skating in this Olympics has not felt Olympic-level to me. You must've missed Plushenko; he didn't fall, and he basically has the gold medal in the bag. Totally predictable.
