Shaun of the Dead is hilarious, but my brother has quoted it to, well, death. I could use a breather.
I think I should probably elaborate on my poll answer. I tried to read Lolita a few summers ago, and got halfway through before I put the book down in disgust. I felt that HH was a completely unsympathetic and thoroughly irritating character, and couldn't get interested in him or any of the other characters in the book. From what I did read, I would have put the second option down. However, I don't feel comfortable passing judgement on a book I haven't finished, and I think that I should probably pick it up and try again sometime.
