smithies tend to be bigger rather than smaller. of course, that doesn't always stop them from trying to fit into the daintier sizes...so it probably doesn't matter.
and because you're doing everything and they're contributing nothing to the enterprise, it's almost guaranteed that they'll be bitching and moaning no matter what you do. so i wouldn't stress about it too much.
