burning like matchsticks in the face of the darkness

I was watching primarily in the company of people who had already seen the movie and adored it. I think the problem is that really i'm never in that sophomoric adolescent mode. (Okay, i have goofy moments that could be called sophomoric adolescent, but they're few and far between and rarely if ever of the kind that would lead to enjoyment of Napoleon Dynamite i think.)
