[livejournal.com profile] sarrin, what was the music that played during the set changes between "The Lady of Larkspur Lotion" and "Medea"? It reminded me of the music that plays during the Simba-Scar battle in The Lion King, but i feel like it's some classic piece i should know.

Y'all should come to the English Department Party maƱana por la noche (7-9pm, Dewey Common Room) but then you should leave to go to the one acts (Hallie Flanagan, 8pm, free). [livejournal.com profile] athene, i am eternally grateful to you for having introduced me to Christopher Durang. I thought i had tracked down and read all his stuff, but "Medea" didn't seem that familiar. All the plays were well-acted and such like, but the writing didn't strike me much (though some were better than others) but "Medea" was absolutely hysterical. I like that every one-act festival here seems to have one Christopher Durang piece.

Oh, and because someone wants to know, a review of Music for Elevators will have to wait until break, but i do like it, though it's hardly the best album ever created.

I wish i had the self-control to just focus on my schoolwork, maybe with a side of filtered LJ friendspage, because i keep wanting to smack people but i don't have the time (or even the energy, at the moment) to get into it, plus selfishly i wish i could buckle down and focus and get this work done. I am happy for those of my people who are happy and thinking good thoughts for those of you who aren't. Hopefully after December 19 i will be able to be more present.
