1. Angel definitely has sacrificed himself on numerous occasions...he's knowingly entered into world ending situations many times, only he prevailed, and didn't die. it was never that he wasn't willing to die for the world, he just never did.
2. As far as I remember, Lindsy didn't break his contract with W&H...hence the marking all over his room and body. I think he left town...and at the time he was small potatoes to W&H.
3. There are so many holes in the writing its ridiculous...luckily i can suspend a lot of disbelief. Its foolish to think that the Senior Partners don't know about Eve. I don't see Eve walking around W&H with markings all over her body like Lindsy. They have psychics etc that are supposed to catch these things, but then ago last ep proved that security isn't so great. Its probable that the Senior Partners don't care if Angel is eliminated. Which discredits this entire season, but it wouldn't surprise me.

my bet is on revenge. and it would have worked perfectly until Angel gave the amulet away and Spike burned instead.
Oh, and 4. It did bother me that they went to the trouble of first attempting to make us possibly believe that Eve might NOT be the bad guy and in the same very ep prove to us that she is working with the bad guy. so much for suspense. i'm sure by the end of the season she'll have a change of heart and not want Angel dead. He'll probably save her life or something. is it wrong that i recognized Eve (Sarah Thompson) from Cruel Intentions 2
