speaking as the mother figure

when I get down on myself (what have I done for the world?)
people tell me to look at my children.
Your message reminds me that we are, all 4 of us, remarkably blessed. A little pool of grace in an oft-wounded and wounding world.

It is wonderfully gratifying to know you can feel close and comfortable and independent with us (the parentals).
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy :)

And if you continue to hurt for those you love,
you will continue to grow as a deeply wonderful soul.
Sometimes the most kind thing you can say to someone is: "I wish I could make it better, but I know there's nothing I can do, and I care about you."

love,
mommy
