Well, I couldn't get the accent in 6 months, and I spent a fair ammount of time with the locals. There's no way I could attempt a Welsh accent, even though I had a few good Welsh friends. I can do a low English one that would be passable to most Americans, but not when preasured to (likewise, a friend from Baillol couldn't do an American when talking about Americans spending the summer there). I'll just stick with a few words, like secratary and controversy, although I now pronounce "h" as Americans do.
I don't know if I would want to loose my accent if I move over there for good. Patrick's dad really hasn't, although he has picked up a slight one, and can if he needs to.
I meant to comment earlier on the sermon from Sunday, but I think I'll work on my own post on that now.
