(no subject)

On the phone tonight, I was telling Ari about Sunday morning church & book group and my conversations with Karl and how I know that I need to work on articulating criticisms in a loving, generous, constructive way but that I think in CHURCH a PASTOR should be able to receive me with grace anyway.  Then I was scooping my housemate's cat out of my room, telling the cat Why as I went.  Ari praised my "constructive loving criticism -- I like you as a person, but this thing you are doing right now is not okay."
