There are worse ways to start a day.

I got a voicemail this morning [well, from 6pm yesterday; they're in California] re: yesterday's potential conflict of doom: "You're right; he does not need to attend the board meeting; I hope I didn't scare you too badly."

No crises today, though. (I know, I'm saying that an hour before the day is over.) Lots of fast-paced busy -- though some of that fast-paced was good, 'cause when changes need to be made, quick turnaround is good. And at least I can look back on today and feel like I actually got a lot of stuff accomplished (some stuff that had been sitting around for a while and also some stuff that just came up).

I also need to come up with a description for the Girls Program workshop I'm leading on Monday. I think I'm doing a workshop on character development, 'cause I suck less at that than at plot, but really I have no idea what I'm doing. I was thinking, "If I went to a writing workshop, what would I want to hear/be taught?" and I've got nothing. Of course, I'm not a twelve-year-old.
