[The West Wing] 1.07 "The State Dinner"
Sep. 29th, 2006 02:00 pmI might like this episode more than I have a lot of the ones that preceded it. There's a lot more going on in this episode than in some of the other ones. But really none of the episodes thus far, this one included, have caused me to fall in love.
*
I love and respect Toby a lot for his integrity, and yes his arrogance, but sometimes I really think he should know better.
Oh, Mandy. I love her a lot this episode. (Including for "You guys want to be alone?")
Oh, Bartlet.... And yes I love Abbey.
Sam continues to frustrate me.
I have sympathy for Donna, but I have difficulty liking her much -- which makes me sad, but the character they're creating just isn't my type at all.
The grey is not a bad look for CJ, but I think she looks better in the blue. I'm also not a huge fan of the reporter.

[less cryptic than last night, I suppose]
Sep. 29th, 2006 11:40 pmand when we had both
admitted it all
we threw our heads back
and laughed until we cried
we laughed because the world
is absurd and beautiful and small
Y'know, I'd forgotten about Friday afternoon tea. (Smith tradition.)
