"Me llamo no tengo español" -my brother
Aug. 15th, 2005 11:33 pm1) So much lack of communication re: my hiring. Am kinda anxious about my ability to do my job, in part because of my predecessor's disorganization and the fact that the main prof i'm supporting is away this weekend, and in part just the usual beginning jitters. Am telling myself it will be okay. It does seem like a pretty chill place, and i'm not an idiot and i'm not being asked to do rocket science so really i should be able to handle this.
2) Went out to dinner with the fam.
3) Zia called me! Yay for people.
4) Justine agreed to beta my dark Simon/River AU, and i've been having anxiey that i went seriously out-of-character indulging my bizarro kinks in writing that fic (though large parts of me are in love with said fic) but she e-mailed me: "Hey I've read your story like twice and its brilliant. Unfortunately I'm in the process of moving out of state so I won't be able to get comments to you until tommorow or the day after. But know that you ROCK and have amazing vision."

7) I am tired. I did a mega-quick skim of LJ. I will read it all, though depending on how work goes it may be a while. If you want a soon-respose to something in particular, just drop me a line.
