Why do i get hungry an hour after dinner?

I was all yummy full last night, but then i wasn't. Again tonight, i had rice and a pirogi (and then they ran out so i had bowtie pasta, which i also like due to its fork-stab-ability -- which is not to be confused with fork-stability, which as far as i know has no meaning) and some cooked carrots and then chocolate chip ice cream and now i'm feeling hungry again. (Speaking of good food, though, i went to the chapel this morning instead of First Churches because Cordelia, the ministerial intern, whom i know from a couple of different contexts, was giving her first sermon, and afterward they had hash browns -- less greasy than the ones we get in the houses -- and fruit salad and orange juice.) But yes, i'm feeling hungry again and i don't even know what i want to eat, not that i'm gonna end up going out to eat anything anyway. And i was gonna go see The Godfather in Comstock at 9 tonight, but Lindsey couldn't get it, so they're showing Boondock Saints instead, and i have no real desire to see that, so i will be in my room doing homework and homeworklike objects (that sounds wrong) all night.

I knew the value of anger from my activist work, but Loomer was the first professor who had responded supportively to my anger, who believed it carried an emotional passion that led to good intellectual work.

I think one of the great values of college, particularly a liberal arts college, is discovering -- in classes and out of them -- what you're passionate about. At least, that's what *i* am finding. Discovering a passion for things, learning what drives me, what i care about doing.
