Sometimes life is out to make me feel better.

Is Lisa's birthday today. Her sister sent her cookies (which arrived still warm!) and Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and she herself bought clementines, so she and Layna came by my room and brought me up to Lisa's room and we had a mini-party (and later Jane -- who in glorious coincidence has the same birthday and is Lisa's Little Sister -- joined, and Alicia). Yay for impromptu yummy food and party, even if some people left because of too much Buffy talk. ;)

And silvermousepad says she will indeed come over and try to fix my computer. (oatmilk, i'm so computer illiterate, so trying to fix it myself totally didn't happen.)

I now possess Vitamin C tablets from Annie and Vitamin C cough drops from Lauren. I will also probably eat my second clementine from Lisa shortly. I've been trying to drink lots of orange juice, but the orange juice in the juice machine downstairs isn't that great.

Layna wondered whether one could be like a hug cactus, storing up hugs. Sadly, we agreed that hugs don't work like that (i compared it to water-soluble vitamins -- even if you have a lot one day, you still have to start over the next day). Too bad.

There's nothing more boring than someone who constantly agrees with you, right Cancer? Keep this in mind when doing battle over the ridiculous. Just because you like somebody doesn't mean that he or she has to share your opinion about everything. Before you take it too personally, try to remember that infatuation and blame are fickle emotions. As the Stars change position, the friends you decide to lose may not have been worth keeping. You'll know who is true and who isn't by this evening.
