I've only seen a Shakespeare play one time in person (a Midsummer Night's Dream); I've seen film versions of Hamlet (3), Titus Andronicus, Much Ado, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Romeo and Juliet.
I've read all those except Titus. I've also read The Tempest, Julius Caesar, Macbeth, and Othello.
There's just not a lot of opportunity to see theater around here.
That's interesting about Winterson; I just read her riff on Oedipus. She clearly likes writing riffs on existing material (which I love).
