These were interesting! By the end of the movie it didn't really occur to me that Adelaide might *not* remember her history in the underground. Having forcibly freed herself, it makes sense that she would never want to go back to that beach and all the traumatic memories. But her reactions would also make sense if she had blocked it out - and that reading supports some really interesting metaphors. More to think about than it appeared at first glance!
