Thanks -- it's fun to chat media texts with people! (I appreciate your putting up with my comments dumping on your entry.) For years, pretty much my only fannish text consumption has been MCU, and while my life is really full and I'm okay with just doing fannish osmosis for lots of shows, I do kind of miss the fannish interaction.
At the last local fannish brunch, we were talking Yuletide, and the problem of finding fandoms to volunteer. I feel like I tend to not have a lot of stories to tell about the stuff I watch/read (though after the first fannish brunch this summer, I started a bunch of fics -- which I also haven't done in years), so that's one of my hesitations around signing up for Yuletide.
