My first thought was, "But the red shirts get killed." Clearly I am absorbing by osmosis the flist being all about the new Star Trek movie. (People keep asking for fic recs and I keep being like, "Well here is what I have seen on my flist so far.") My second thought was, "Oh, I hadn't yet decided what to wear tomorrow; good idea."
When I first got the party (L. came a bit later as I didn't have confirmation until after I'd gotten there that partycrashers were welcome) folks were talking about CTY and it struck me as the kind of conversation she would feel at home around, but I don't think I'd known she actually did CTY. Her connections to the partygoers was that she was an RA there (which is not the kind of work I wold think of her doing). iirc, she was an RA around 2001 and a student around 1998. (She turns 28 this October.)
